"The Raid" is a VR experience that was released as a teaser before the season premiere of 24: Legacy. Due to the low-light shooting conditions required by the story, the technical team at Here Be Dragons determined the ideal way to shoot the 360° video was with a single, Red film camera shooting multiple passes on a motion control dolly. Easy, right? Proof worked closely with the director to choreograph each shot, paying close attention to camera speed and the position of each actor. It would be impossible to stitch actors if they crossed out of frame, so Proof's job was to design a compelling and believable military raid, while also ensuring that each character stayed within their assigned "quadrant".
