Fast & Furious 6
In our fourth collaboration with Director Justin Lin, it’s off to Europe to create faster, more furious and more fantastic car chases. We can’t wait to see what Previs Supervisor Alex Vegh and his high-octane team of animators come up with for this one.
R.I.P.D.
Previs Supervisor Alex Vegh, with support from Ron Frankel, teamed up with Director Robert Schwentke and VFX Supervisor Mike Wassel to bring to life the story of an undead cop in search of the man who murdered him. Murder, betrayal, intrigue, car chases and incredibly complicated camera moves…all in a day’s work.
I, Frankenstein
We went down under to Melbourne for this latest collaboration with VFX Supervisor James McQuaide. Drawing from our global network of animators, we fielded an all-Australian team led by Previs Supervisor Brad McKay. Once the previs is complete, the team will roll seamlessly into providing post-vis for VFX and Editorial.
Man of Steel
Called in by VFX Supervisor John “DJ” DesJardins, Proof’s on-set visualization team sprang to action and provided realtime, in-camera composites for two sequences in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot. The effort provided DJ and Zack with a live view of CG elements and enabled them to confidently compose VFX shots on set, all on the fly.
Akira
Previs Supervisor Monty Granito pitched in with VFX Supervisor Chris Watts and Director Jaume Collet-Serra to help get this live-action adaptation of the classic manga story off the ground and into production. We put together a thrilling sequence, but we’re all still waiting for the film to be made.
